On Monday, June 11, 2012 at approximately 2016 hours, a fire was started in the Forest Service area above Centerville. The fire was called in by four people who had been up in the area shooting targets. These four people (one of them a juvenile) are being identified as suspects, due to their admissions that they believed it was them who had started the fire as a result of shooting clay pigeons in the area. The suspects were all cooperative on scene and gave what information they had. They were not arrested on scene, but advised that charges would be screened through the County Attorney’s Office. Formal charges are pending.
