DEPUTY ARRESTS PAROLE FUGITIVE

A DCSO deputy stopped a vehicle for a moving violation on I-15 in Farmington overnight. The driver did not have ID, but gave information of an individual belonging to a male. The deputy was fairly certain the driver was a female, with a short haircut. After some investigation, the deputy discovered her true identity, that of 24-year-old Lien Tran, of WVC. It was discovered that Lien was a parole fugitive and was arrested for her warrant, as well as false information to a peace officer. After the arrest, it was also discovered that Lien was in possession of several forged checks that did not belong to her. That aspect is still under investigation.
